Welcome to Mitco Industries, Inc.
Mitco is a leading supplier of precision mechanical parts, component assemblies and products, primarily for the oil and gas, and geothermal energy industries. We also offer development support through mechanical engineering design, analysis, and rapid prototyping.
We provide quality through experience!
For more than 55 years, Mitco Industries has provided precision manufacturing, engineering, and custom product solutions to demanding industries where quality, reliability, and innovation are critical.
Founded in 1970 as a small machine shop in South Gate, California, Mitco began with just two employees and a commitment to delivering high-quality machining services. As customer needs expanded, so did the company. By 1978, Mitco had incorporated and added precision grinding, honing, and welding capabilities, serving oilfield service companies and manufacturers of well surveying, logging, and measurement-while-drilling (MWD) equipment.
In 1980, Mitco developed its proprietary vacuum flask heat shield technology, launching a specialized product line designed to protect sensitive instrumentation in extreme downhole oil, gas, and geothermal environments. This innovation established Mitco as a trusted supplier of thermal protection solutions for well logging and surveying applications.
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, the company continued to invest in advanced manufacturing technologies, including its first CNC machine, expanded facilities, and a growing engineering team. Strategic facility expansions in Buena Park, Bloomington, Yorba Linda, and Anaheim increased manufacturing capacity while supporting new product development initiatives.
A major milestone came in the mid-1990s when Mitco expanded its engineering capabilities, opened a support facility in Houston, Texas, and developed partnerships with major oil service companies. By 1997, Mitco had established a dedicated engineering department, enabling the company to provide custom-engineered products and technical design services alongside its manufacturing expertise.
The company's commitment to innovation also led to expansion into the performance racing industry, where Mitco designed and manufactured precision dry sump oil pump components and custom engine oil pans. Additional product development efforts included high-temperature well logging components for challenging operating environments.
Today, Mitco combines decades of machining experience, engineering expertise, and product innovation to serve customers across energy, industrial, and specialty manufacturing markets. Our reputation has been built on solving complex problems, delivering exceptional quality, and maintaining long-term partnerships with the customers who depend on our products and services.

From a two-person machine shop in 1970 to a trusted engineering and manufacturing partner today, Mitco remains committed to precision, innovation, and customer success.
